Leadership Qualification Training



Leadership Qualification is ONE DAY only, with the expectation that participants will have completed the following eGuiding modules PRIOR to coming to training, unless Recognition of Prior Learning has been given.

eguiding modules to be completed PRIOR to training include :

Guiding Orientation
Facilitating the Girl Experience
Leadership in the Unit
Girl Recognition System
Risk Awareness
Child Safe Child Friendly (CSCF) Module 1 Adults in Guiding
Child Safe Child Friendly (CSCF) Module 2 Leaders & Managers

This training will focus on the practical application knowledge and/or knowledge gained from the eGuiding modules. Please ensure you bring your Leadership Qualification Passport with you, along with the certificates for any eGuiding modules completed.

Pre-requisite - Induction Form (LD04, Leadership Qualification Passport, Edition 6 2019) should be completed prior to attending training.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If GGSA cancels event – a full refund given

If applicant notifies GGSA before closing date – a full refund given

If applicant notifies GGSA between closing date and 7 days prior to event a refund of 50% will be considered upon written application to the CEO (unless there is a waiting list and we can fill the place with a full paying attendee, in which case a full refund will be given)

If applicant notifies GGSA in the 7 days prior to the event no refund will be made, (unless there is a waiting list and we can fill the place with a full paying attendee, in which case a full refund will be given)

If applicant cancels due to COVID, where applicant is in self-isolation mandated by the Government or Hotel Quarantine or has symptoms of COVID and consequently tests positive before camp (in the last 7-14 days prior to camp) a full refund will be given upon receipt of a doctor’s certificate.
